A selection of three mid 19th century and later 9ct gold gem-set brooches. To include a foil-back topaz and split pearl cluster mourning brooch, a split pearl horseshoe bar brooch, together with an oval nephrite jade cabochon brooch. Lengths 2.7 to 5.2cms. Total weight 16.7gms.

Purchasing information-
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Two base metal pins, possible replacements. Two stamped 9c/9ct. Split pearls well matched, slight discolouration, general dirt. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. Topaz is foil back. Topaz appears a medium very slightly orangey yellow hue. Moderate surface scratches. Nephrite jade is a slightly mottled medium olive green hue with flecks of light green and streaks of more saturated green.
