Condition Report

A lady's wrist watch. Hallmarked Edinburgh 1933. Unsigned manual wind movement. Cream dial with Arabic numeral hour markers. 9ct yellow gold case fitted to a non-original black leather strap with folding clasp. 16mm. Box.

Purchasing information

The manual wind movement is currently functioning.
Movement appears to display medium scratches, pitting and tarnishing and heavy discolouration, all consistent with general wear.
Dial currently appears to be significantly discoloured and tarnished to the extent that the base metal is visible. Pitting and scratching also seem to be present.
Hands appear to be rusting.
Case currently bears medium scratches and light pitting.
Glass appears to be replaced with plastic and displays light scratches.
Crown appears to be heavily tarnished and scratched.
Case back currently shows medium denting and scratches.
Strap seems to have a number of scratches and cracking to the leather. Areas also appear to have rubbed away and a blue excrement is present on the points adjoining the case.
Clasp appears to be significantly discoloured and tarnished and has a number of deep scratches and dents.
This lot comes with a box. The box is heavily tarnished on the interior and exterior. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
