Condition Report

A lady's wrist watch. Hallmarked Edinburgh 1933. Unsigned manual wind movement. Cream dial with Arabic numeral hour markers. 9ct yellow gold case fitted to a non-original black leather strap with folding clasp. 16mm. Box.

Purchasing information
  • The manual wind movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement appears to display medium scratches, pitting and tarnishing and heavy discolouration, all consistent with general wear.
  • Dial currently appears to be significantly discoloured and tarnished to the extent that the base metal is visible. Pitting and scratching also seem to be present.
  • Hands appear to be rusting.
  • Case currently bears medium scratches and light pitting.
  • Glass appears to be replaced with plastic and displays light scratches.
  • Crown appears to be heavily tarnished and scratched.
  • Case back currently shows medium denting and scratches.
  • Strap seems to have a number of scratches and cracking to the leather. Areas also appear to have rubbed away and a blue excrement is present on the points adjoining the case.
  • Clasp appears to be significantly discoloured and tarnished and has a number of deep scratches and dents.
  • This lot comes with a box. The box is heavily tarnished on the interior and exterior. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any lots sold.
