Two early 20th century gold split pearl brooches. To include a 15ct gold green-gem and split pearl floral spray brooch, gathered by a split pearl crescent, together with a split pearl floral bar brooch. One split pearl deficient. One with hallmarks for Birmingham, partially rubbed. Lengths 4.9 and 3.6cms. Total weight 6.8gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with age. Both with wear to the gilt surface. First with replacement base metal pin. Catch bent, still functioning. One split pearl deficient. Some minor green staining. Second with repair to the pin. Some possible replacement split pearls. Green-gem yellowish-green, fair to dark colour saturation. Fairly good clarity. Green-gem in good condition with minor abrasion and nibbles. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Split pearls creamy colour with varying hues of yellow and orangish-yellow. Generally fairly good skins with some surface blemishes, some in poor condition with significant chips and abrasion. Fair to fairly good lustre.
