A dyed lapis lazuli, ruby and cultured pearl fly brooch. The dyed lapis lazuli body, with cultured pearl head and ruby eyes, to the engraved wings. Pin with hallmarks for 9ct gold. Length 3.7cms. Total weight 8.8gms.

Overall condition good. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with general wear. Rubies purplish to pinkish red, vary slightly in hue. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Dyed lapis lazuli mottled blue. Gemstones in good condition with some abrasion and nicks. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Cultured pearl creamy colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Drill hole visible. Fair skin with noticeable surface blemishes. Fair lustre. Brooch stamped 14K.
