Condition Report

An opal and diamond pendant. The circular opal cabochon, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, suspended from an old-cut diamond collet and baguette-cut diamond surmount. Estimated total diamond weight 1.70cts. Length 3cms. Weight 5.5gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Diamonds individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are very bright, lively and well matched. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. The opal is a white body colour with bright green and blue play of colour. Light abrasion to the surface, with areas of the opal matrix, predominantly on the back of the stone.
