Condition Report

An open face pocket watch. Import hallmarked London 1912. Unsigned fifteen jewel keyless wind movement with club tooth lever escapement. Silvered dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 9ct yellow gold case. 45mm. 42gms.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement appears in good condition with a few minor scratches and tarnishes visible under close inspection.
  • Dial shows signs of wear commensurate with general use. There are a few scratches visible to the naked eye. There is significant discolouration by the aperture.
  • Hands appear in good condition.
  • Glass seems to be in good condition with a few minor tarnishes visible.
  • Case shows signs of wear commensurate with general use. There are dents visible to the naked eye around the dial with some scratches clearly visible. More scratches are visible under close inspection and some slight discolouration is visible.
  • Case back shows light general wear with minor scratches and dents visible on the outer face of the case back. The inner face has more considerable dents and scratches but these are all commensurate with general use. The hinges shows slight discolouration but nothing more than would be expected due to its age.
  • Pendant bow shows sings of very light scratches visible to the naked eye.
