Condition Report

ROLEX - a gentleman's Rolex Oysterdate Precision wrist watch. Circa 1966. Reference 6694, serial 1367913. Signed manual wind calibre 789. Silvered dial with baton hour markers. Stainless steel case fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with sterling silver pin buckle. 34mm.

Purchasing information
  • The manual wind movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement appears to have medium chips, scratches and light tarnishing, consistent with general use.
  • Dial seems to display an area of tarnishing on a number of the hour markers, otherwise dial appears to be in good condition.
  • Hands currently show light pitting, tarnishing and discolouration.
  • Glass appears to have been replaced with plastic, which has several long, thin scratches and chips.
  • Case appears to have light scratches and very small chips, visible under a 10x loupe.
  • Crown seems to have light tarnishing and scratches, visible under a 10x loupe.
  • Bezel appears to have small areas of pitting and light scratches, the majority of which should polish out.
  • Case back currently bears medium scratches and pitting with areas of tarnishing around the edge.
  • Strap appears to be in good condition.
  • Buckle appears to be in good condition. This lot does not come with a box or papers.
