Condition Report

An early 20th century gold diamond cluster ring. The old-cut diamond floral cluster, with tapered shoulders, to the replacement 18ct gold band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct. Band with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1985. Weight 2gms.

    Overall condition good. Some surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. Some possible replacement diamonds, significant wear to the settings. Replacement band, joints to the shoulders. Diamonds fairly bright, differ slightly in size and appearance. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Some with significant surface reaching inclusions visible to the unaided eye, durability may be affected. Some with scattered inclusions visible under magnification. Diamonds in fair to good condition, some with minor abrasion, some with significant nicks. Ring size M.
