MURRLE BENNETT & CO. - an early 20th century 9ct gold split pearl and turquoise brooch. The alternating split pearl and circular turquoise cabochon heart-shape panel, with similarly set ribbon surmount, to the split pearl crescent. Makers marks for Murrle Bennett & Co. Length 4.5cms. Weight 3.5gms.

    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. Split pearls have surface blemishes and some nacre damage. Turquoise vary slightly in colour due to age. Small chips and scratches to most. One stone deficient. Pin slightly bent. Stamped MBCo, 9ct.
