Condition Report

A mid 20th century 18ct gold diamond cluster ring. The old and single-cut diamond circular-shape panel, to the plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.90ct. Weight 3.2gms.

    Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Evidence of resizing. Some possible replacement diamonds. Significant wear to the outer settings, evidence of repair. Diamonds fairly bright, differ slightly in appearance, some are drawing slight yellow hues. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.20ct. Individual size/setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Principal diamond with large surface reaching inclusions and feathers visible to the unaided eye. Outer diamonds with scattered to large inclusions, some of which are surface reaching and visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds in fair to good condition, mostly with minor abrasion, some with significant nicks, one chipped. Ring size M1/2. Stamped 18ct.
