A mid 19th century gold, diamond and enamel brooch.

Condition Report

A mid 19th century gold, diamond and enamel brooch. Of oval outline, the diamond point off-set rows, to the blue enamel panel with silvered disc surround. Length 2.9cms. Weight 4.8gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Converted from a clasp, partial clasp fitting visible to side. Replacement brooch fittings. Slight soft solder visible. Discolouration to some of the silvered discs inset to the enamel. Enamel with minor abrasion. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond weight 0.04ct. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades.
