Condition Report

A late 19th century 9ct gold locket, the stylised padlock, with split pearl and foliate engraved detail, to the oval-shape locket with scrolling sides and tapered surmount. Length 6.5cms. Weight 13.7gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in fair overall condition with scratches in keeping with general wear. Noticeable scratches to both sides of the locket. The back of the locket buckles inwards easily. Wear to the gilt finish. The stylised padlock panel moves slightly, the split pearl surmount moving significantly. Glue residue visible.
