Condition Report

Two gold diamond rings. To include an 18ct gold square-shape diamond single-stone ring with asymmetric shoulders, together with a 9ct gold brilliant-cut diamond band ring. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Hallmarks for London and Sheffield. Total weight 5.8gms.

    Overall condition good. Some surface wear in keeping with general wear. Evidence of resizing. Second with discolouration to the inner band, some possible replacement diamonds. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.25ct, H-I colour, SI clarity. Assessed within the limits of the mount. Cloud of scattered dark coloured inclusions located in the centre of the table, easily visible under magnification. Outer diamonds bright and well matched. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Scattered to large inclusions, some are surface reaching and visible to the unaided eye. One has a milky appearance. Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasion. Ring sizes I1/2 and I. Second stamped .15. Weight of first 4.3gms.
