Condition Report

An early 20th century 15ct gold diamond pendant. Of heart-shape outline, the diamond accent star panel, suspended from a 9ct gold belcher-chain. Length of pendant 2cms. Length of chain 48cms. Total weight 8.6gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The pendant shows some significant dents to the reverse. The suspension loop may be a later replacement. The chain is of a similar age. Some links to the chain are dented and misshapen. The clasp shows evidence of repair. The diamond accents estimated total weight less than 0.05ct. The diamonds are fairly bright, and well matched. Some are cracked. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Plaque near to clasp stamped 9c.
