Condition Report

A mid 20th century 18ct gold emerald and diamond cluster ring. The oval emerald cabochon, within a circular and brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Weight 6.1gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Some surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. Some wear to the white metal surface of the band. Evidence of resizing. Emerald bluish to yellowish-green, fair to medium colour saturation. Typical inclusions and significant surface reaching fractures that somewhat affect the passage of light through the stone. Some of the surface reaching fractures have yellowish-brown hues. Gemstone in fair to good condition with some abrasion. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Scattered inclusions visible under magnification. Diamonds in good condition with some nicks. Ring size L. Stamped 18ct.
