Condition Report
A late Victorian gold split pearl and enamel locket. The split pearl cluster and blue enamel star, to the oval-shape locket, suspended from a ridged collet mount, to the similarly-ridged flexible collar. Length of locket and surmount 8cms. Length of collar 44cms. Weight 59.1gms. With fitted case.

Purchasing information-
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. General slight discolouration. Length of locket includes surmount loop and ridged clasp to attach to collar. Length of locket including surmount loop only 6.4cms. Length of oval-shape locket 5cms. Numerous chips to the blue enamel. Split pearls well matched. Surmount loop slightly dented. Locket closes securely. Plastic glazed interior to both sides, one containing a lock of hair, hair shows moderate deterioration. Chain with minor, small dent to reverse. Case shows general wear, break near the hinge. Case does not close securely.
