An early nineteenth century Channel Islands silver table spoon with engraved terminal and further personal engraving to the stem reverse. Stamped with the maker's mark JQ for Jacques Quesnel I, Jersey. Length measuring 9 inches (23 cm), weight 1.5 ozt (49.7 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Engraving noticeably worn and rubbed. Further spots of discolouration to the bowl. Some wear to the striking edges. Heel completely worn.
