A late Victorian three piece silver tea service, the oblong bodies, part fluted with moulded rims and standing on four bun feet. Hallmarked Joseph Rodgers & Sons, Sheffield 1899. Gross weight 37.2 ozt (1159 grams).

The tea service displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing visible and would benefit from a clean and polish. Rubbing with loss of definition. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
