Condition Report

Two 18ct gold diamond and gem-set cluster rings. The first designed as an oval-shape ruby within a single-cut surround, the second designed as an oval-shape sapphire to the single-cut diamond surround and asymmetric shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Hallmarks for Birminhgam, 1997. Weight 9gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and scuffs in keeping with general wear. The ruby is a slightly cloudy dark red, with profuse inclusions that significantly affect the passage of light through the stone, some are surface reaching. The sapphire is a slightly patchy dark to mid blue, with typical inclusions. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Small light and dark inclusions are scattered to each diamond and can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Ring sizes L1/2. The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma. Please be advised that inability of a purchaser to import any such item into the US or elsewhere will not constitute grounds for non-payment or cancellation of the sale.
