A Swedish 1940s synthetic spinel floral pendant. Of openwork design, the circular-shape blue synthetic spinel scrolling floral motif, within a rectangular-shape surround, suspended from a fancy-link chain. Swedish assay marks for 1946. Length of pendant 3.7cms. length of chain 50cms. Weight 6.1gms.

Purchasing information-
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. File nick and slight acid stain to bottom edge of surround. Date code for 1946 to pendant only. Chain with Swedish assay marks, no date code, different maker's mark, marks to chain slightly rubbed and poorly struck. Length of pendant includes surmount, length of rectangular-shape panel 2.9cms.
