Condition Report

Two late Victorian 9ct gold brooches. Each designed as a faceted oval-shape panel, within an embossed geometric and scalloped surround. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1889 and 1890. Lengths 3.6cms each. Weight 7.2gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Both with same maker, maker's mark E.G.J. Base metal replacement pins. One with replacement base metal fittings, soft solder visible. Base metal mounts to glazed reverses. Hallmarks show wear.
