Condition Report

Cary's 'New Map of Europe, exhibiting its National and Political Divisions. Delineated from the Most Recent Authorities. Printed for John Cary, No. 86 St. James's Str., 1838', the 48 panels backed onto canvas, 52.5" x 59.5" (133cm x 151cm), together with a box containing assorted Lincolnshire prints, to include a silkwork picture entitled beneath 'MARY ASHTON BOSTON CHURCH Aged 10 1813', finely worked in black thread, 9.5" x 13.5" (24cm x 34cm), a lithograph of 'Messrs Wm. Marshall & Sons New Flour Mills, Victoria Street, Grimsby', a view of 'Kirton Church near Boston, W. Burgess 1797', 'View of Lincoln from the south' (Bartlett), 'Great Grimsby Church' (Nash), etc.

    Map- General light brown staining. Minor edge wear but still legible. Some slight tears to canvas between panels. Rubbing to green outer covers (reverse on canvas). Prints- 1. Staining to centre, a few pulled threads, some foxing. Other items sold as seen.
