Condition Report

Two early to mid 20th century enamel naval flag brooches. The first designed as a 15ct gold red enamel pennant with 'V R' initials, anchor and coronet motif, within a seed pearl surround, the second comprising four red, yellow and white enamel signal flags, to the rope-twist swag and flag pole. Lengths 4.8 and 3.7cms. Weight 6.5gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Some surface wear and minor discolouration in keeping with age. Possible replacement pins. First with chips and cracks to the enamel surface. Seed pearls untested for natural origin. Some are possible replacements. One with drill hole to the front. Minimal glue residue. Enamel in the second in good condition with minor abrasion. First stamped 15. Second stamped 9ct.
