Condition Report

A 9ct gold opal and diamond hinged bangle. Designed as a series of graduated oval opal cabochons, with brilliant-cut diamond double spacers, to the trifurcated bangle. Estimated total diamond weight 0.55ct. Import marks for Birmingham, 1991. Inner diameter 5.5cms. Weight 13.1gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Some surface wear in keeping with general wear. Opals fairly well matched, vary slightly in appearance. Translucent with slightly uneven play-of-colour. Opals in fair to good condition with some surface abrasion and a few large nicks. One with surface reaching fractures to one side, durability may be impaired. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. Diamonds bright and well matched. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Generally with scattered inclusions, one with profuse inclusions. Diamonds in good condition with some nicks.
