Condition Report

CARTIER - a Santos 100 chronograph wrist watch. Reference 2740, serial 845903CE. Signed automatic calibre 8630. Silvered dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary recorder dials to three, six and nine, date aperture between four and five. Stainless steel case fitted to a signed black alligator strap with stainless steel double folding clasp. 41mm.

  • Automatic movement is currently functioning, chronograph function appears to be working correctly however we have been unable to test the hour counter.
  • Movement shows play in the rotor. Movement shows visible marks and tarnishing.
  • Dial appears to be in good condition.
  • Hands also appear to be in good condition.
  • Glass has scratches and marks.
  • Bezel has visible scratches and marks.
  • Case shows scratches and marks.
  • Crown has a visible chip to the cabochon.
  • Crown and pusher appear to be functioning correctly. Crown and pusher show light scratches and marks.
  • Case back has light scratches and marks.
  • Strap shows visible wear, marks and creasing. Bottom segment of the strap shows a split to the side by the clasp.
  • Clasp has visible scratches, scuffs and marks.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
