Condition Report

ROLEX - a mid-size Oyster Perpetual Datejust bracelet watch. Circa 1984. Reference 68273, serial 8306087. Signed automatic calibre 2135. Pave set diamond dial with red Roman numeral hour markers, date aperture to three. Diamond set bezel, diamond set stainless steel case fitted to stainless steel Jubilee bracelet with Oysterclasp. 30mm. Please be aware this item has had significant aftermarket intervention.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement appears to be clean and in a good condition.
  • Dial is of non-Rolex manufacture, diamonds are not very lively and some have cracks and chipping present to the surface. Date aperture is slightly out of line with the cyclops.
  • Hands have light scratching and marking with light tarnishing present to the luminous inserts.
  • Glass has light scratches to the surface.
  • Bezel is of non-Rolex manufacture, diamonds are dull and un-lively they do not follow the same table consistently with some variance in angle. The edge has some scratches and dints.
  • Case has after-set diamonds on the lugs that are not on Rolex origin they are somewhat dull and would benefit from a clean.
  • Crown is currently functioning and appears to be in a good condition.
  • Case back has some light scratching and pitting but appears to be in a fair condition.
  • Bracelet has been constructed from separate parts and married up, clasp code indicates the clasp was originally on a bi-metal bracelet and has later been attached to the stainless steel Jubilee bracelet on this watch. The bracelet appears to be in good general condition.
  • Clasp is currently functioning but does not fasten securely. This may require attention. Clasp shows light to medium stratches and tarnishing.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 17cm including case.
