A 1960s 9ct gold ruby and diamond brooch. Of openwork design, comprising two scrolling foliate panels, with circular-shape rubies and old-cut diamond accent. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1968. Length 5cms. Weight 7.7gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Rubies pinkish to purplish-red. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Estimated diamond weight 0.07ct. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Diamond in good condition with minor abrasion. Stamped Fidelity to the reverse.
