A 1960s 9ct gold ruby and diamond brooch. Of openwork design, comprising two scrolling foliate panels, with circular-shape rubies and old-cut diamond accent. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1968. Length 5cms. Weight 7.7gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Rubies pinkish to purplish-red. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Gemstones in fair condition with abrasion and significant nicks. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. Diamond bright. Estimated diamond weight 0.07ct. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Diamond in good condition with minor abrasion. Stamped Fidelity to the reverse.
