A sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The pear-shape sapphire, within an old, single and brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Weight 5.3gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition fair. Some surface wear and light scratches in keeping with general wear. Evidence of resizing, band has been cut and needs soldering. Sapphire dark blue. Typical inclusions, to include profuse colour banding, that somewhat affect the passage of light through the stone. Sapphire in fair condition with significant abrasion, scratches and nibbles. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Scattered to large inclusions visible under 10x magnification and to the unaided eye. Some inclusions are surface reaching, with associated nicks/nibbles. Diamonds in fair to good condition with some abrasion and significant nibbles. Ring size K. Stamps rubbed.
