Condition Report

A 9ct gold gem-set dress ring. The oval-shape sapphire, within a single-cut diamond and tapered baguette-cut ruby surround, to the single-cut diamond and square-shape emerald three-row shoulders. Two diamonds deficient. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 2002. Weight 4.1gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Minor surface wear and light scratches in keeping with general wear. Sapphire greenish-blue, medium to dark colour saturation. Emerald and rubies have medium colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Gemstones in fair to good condition with some abrasion/nicks. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. Diamonds fairly bright and well matched. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Scattered to large inclusions, some are surface reaching and visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds in fair to good condition some abrasion and nicks. Ring size N1/2. The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma.
