Condition Report

An early 20th century gold sapphire and diamond five-stone ring. The graduated old-cut diamonds and circular-shape sapphires, to the openwork gallery and tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Hallmarks rubbed. Weight 2.5gms.

    Overall condition good. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Evidence of resizing/alteration to the band. Wear to the settings, some may need attention. Sapphires fairly well matched, medium colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Fair condition with surface abrasion. Individual size/setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Scattered to large inclusions. Principal diamond with significant nicks/chips to the crown.
