Condition Report

A mid 19th century emerald and diamond brooch. Of openwork design, the vari-cut diamond and square-shape foil-back emerald scrolling foliate panel, suspending two similarly-set emerald drops, to the similarly-designed emerald and diamond surmount. Estimated total diamond weight 1.90cts. Length 4.1cms. Weight 13.9gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair. Some of the diamonds have chips and nibbles to them. Emeralds are light green colour with pale saturation, with different sized drops on each side. Repair to hinge, drop deficient, replacement pin. Please refer to the on-line guidelines relating to the pruchase of coloured gemstones
