Condition Report

An early Victorian Scottish silver heavy mustard pot, the circular body florally embossed in high relief, the hinged lid similarly decorated and opening to a blue glass liner and raised on three female mask mounted shell feet, with associated modern silver seal top condiment spoon. Mustard hallmarked Leonard Urquhart, Edinburgh 1841. Maximum height measuring 6.4 ozt (201 grams).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Vacant cartouche. Minor dints and bumps. Hinge allows some sideways movement. Glass liner with numerous minor chips to rim. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark partly worn. Modern seal top spoon hallmarked London 1953.
