A William IV silver cruet stand with serpent handles.

Condition Report

A William IV silver cruet stand, the quatrefoil base standing on shell feet with foliate mounted scroll supports and twin serpent entwined handles, supporting four associated Victorian silver mounted cut glass inserts. Cruet hallmarked Joseph Angell I & John Angell I, London 1836, the glass inserts hallmarked John Wilmin Figg, London 1843 and 1848. Gross weighable silver 12.6 ozt (392 grams).

Purchasing information
    Overall in good condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A number of significant chips to the glass. Hallmarks overall are clear and legible no hallmarks to the smaller pepper mount. No condiment spoons present.
