Condition Report

An Edwardian three piece bachelor tea set, comprising teapot, cream and sugar each of oval form partly fluted and angular handles, the teapot with ebony handle and finial, hallmarked Charles Boyton & Son Ltd, London 1906. Together with an Edwardian silver cream jug. Gross weight 15.64 ozt (486.4 grams). (2).

Purchasing information
    Fair overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The finial on the teapot lid is loose. The thumb grip on the handle is broken. The lid shows numerous small dents and has been repaired at the hinge with uneven surface and pitting evident. Significant wear to hallmarks and maker's marks. Maker's mark to single cream jug completely erased, hallmarked London, 1906. General small dents and bruises to all pieces. Some larger dents to the single cream jug.
