A pair of George II silver open salts, etc.

Condition Report

A pair of George II silver open salts of cauldron form raised on three hoof feet, hallmarked Edward Wood, London, probably 1735. Together with a set of four George III silver open salts with florally embossing, a George III silver mustard hallmarked London 1792, a 1960's silver sauce boat, Sheffield 1966, silver and plated condiment spoons and a modern silver bottle label. Gross weighable silver 24 ozt (754 grams).

Purchasing information
    The lot appears in varied state. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The set of four open salts are in poor condition displaying significant wear to the embossing, holes, handles missing, one glass liner deficient, hallmarks almost completely erased. Only one glass liner present to the George II open salts and appears heavily chipped. Weight does not include mustards as unable to remove glass liner.
