Condition Report

A mid 20th century diamond, ruby and emerald floral brooch. The brilliant-cut diamond and circular-shape ruby cluster, within a wire-work petal surround, to the circular-shape ruby and emerald accents. Estimated diamond weight 0.15ct. French assay marks. Length 4.1cms. Weight 23.7gms.

    Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Emeralds and rubies vary slightly in appearance, one possible replacement. Typical inclusions that somewhat affect the passage of light through the stones. Gemstones in fair condition with abrasion, nicks and nibbles. Inclusions visible under magnification. Diamond in good condition with minor abrasion. Fitting stamped Depose.
