Condition Report

A turquoise and diamond bar brooch. The circular turquoise cabochon and old-cut diamond diagonal line, to the knife-edge bar, with oval turquoise cabochon and old-cut diamond terminals. Estimated total diamond weight 0.70ct. Length 6.2cms. Weight 5.1gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with age. Composite piece, made up of elements dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Added safety chain. Two of the settings are silver-fronted. Turquoise varies slightly in hue. Typical inclusions. Gemstones in fair to good condition with some abrasion. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. Diamonds bright and well matched. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Scattered to large inclusions, some are surface reaching and visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds in fair to good condition with some nicks.
