A silver gentleman's trench style wrist watch.

Condition Report

A gentleman's trench style wrist watch. Import hallmarked London 1918. Unsigned keyless wind movement with club tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Chapter ring, silver case. Brown leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 35mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement is in a very poor condition with noticeable signs of rust.
  • Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. Subsidiary seconds dial shows lifting of the laminate around the hands.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint.
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Case back shows medium to heavy scuffs and areas of discolouration.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. When pushed back in the crown appears to be fairly unsteady and easy to move.
  • Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration.
  • Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
