Condition Report

EBEL - a gentleman's Sportwave chronograph bracelet watch. Reference E9251641, serial 95502501. Signed quartz calibre 251. White dial with luminous hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to two, six and ten, date aperture to four. Tachymeter bezel, stainless steel case fitted to a signed stainless steel bracelet with double folding clasp. 40mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is not currently functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or symptomatic of something more serious is unknown. We have therefore been unable to test the fuctions of this watch.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe
  • Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Bezel is fixed.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
  • Bracelet has light scratches and some signs of light stretching to links.
  • Clasp is not currently functioning and will require attention.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 20cm including case.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.

    Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
