Condition Report
A seed pearl, diamond and red-gem double-sided pendant. Of circular outline, the hand painted panel, depicting the portrait of a lady, within a rose-cut diamond, circular-shape red gem and seed pearl accent surround, to the enamel floral reverse. French marks to surmount. Length 3.5cms. Total weight 11.2gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. Composite piece, surmount dates from the late 19th century, with replacement gemstones and central panels. Significant repairs to the surmount, wear and scratches to the gilt surface. Glue to the seed pearls. Seed pearls untested for natural origin. Scratches to the enamel panel, possibly base metal. Some wear and scratches to the hand painted panel. Red gems too small to accurately identify, possibly rubies or garnets. Pinkish-red to purplish-red, dark colour saturation. Due to the nature of the rose-cut diamond it is not possible to calculate an accurate total diamond weight. Estimated total diamond spread weight 0.07ct, which is no indication of the actual total diamond weight. Diamonds in fair to good condition with some abrasion and nibbles.
