Condition Report

A selection of three gem-set rings. To include an 18ct gold oval-shape blue topaz and single-cut diamond cluster ring, an oval opal cabochon and brilliant-cut diamond dress ring, together with a ruby, emerald and diamond point stepped cluster ring. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. First with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1988. Total weight 9.3gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with general wear. Evidence of resizing. Topaz and opal in good condition with some abrasion. Emeralds and rubies in fair to poor condition, some with abrasion and nicks, one chipped. Third with some replacement stones. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. Single and old-cut diamonds fairly bright and well matched. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Scattered to profuse inclusions, some visible to the unaided eye, in good condition with minor abrasion and nicks. Diamond points with significant fractures, nicks and chips, durability may be impaired. Ring sizes Q to H1/4. Second stamped 750. The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma. For your convenience we have applied this notice to lots which contain rubies or jadeite originating in Burma, or those of indeterminate origin.
