An early 20th century large silver bowl.

Condition Report

An early twentieth century large silver bowl of circular form with twin handles, decorated with an applied border of Celtic motifs above a later presentation inscription to one side, further conforming decoration to the handles and footed base. Hallmarked Carrington & Co., London 1912. Length including handles measures 15 inches (38 cm), weight 59.57 ozt (1853 grams).

Purchasing information
    The bowl displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous heavier marks, scratches and nicks visible, mainly to the interior of the bowl. Also some slight dints. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible. The inscription reads 'Presented by The Montgomery Branch of the Country Landowners Association to Mr and Mrs G. W. Thomas, in Recognition of their Devoted and Outstanding Service 1948-1980.'
