An early twentieth century silver cream jug.

Condition Report

An early twentieth century silver cream jug of fluted helmet form with engraved borders and standing on an oval foot, hallmarked Chester 1911, maker's mark rubbed, height measuring 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cm). Together with a modern silver half pint mug of plain traditional form, hallmarked Birmingham 1960, height measuring 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm). Gross weight 10 ozt (313 grams). (2).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The cream jug is compressed into the body and leans forward. Dent to the body and foot of the mug. No personal engravings. Hallmarks are clear and legible. Both maker's marks worn.
