Condition Report

U-BOAT - a gentleman's Flightdeck wrist watch. Reference 316L, serial U-6497. Signed manual wind movement. Black dial with green baton hour markers, Arabic numeral four, eight and twelve, subsidiary seconds dial to three. Stainless steel case with exhibition case back, fitted to a signed black leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 50mm.

  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing
  • Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
  • Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration.
  • Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.
