Condition Report

ROLEX - a lady's Oyster Perpetual Datejust wrist watch. Circa 1979. Reference 6916, serial 5501951. Signed automatic calibre 2030. Pave diamond set dial. Diamond set bezel, 18ct yellow gold case fitted to an unsigned tan leather strap with yellow metal pin buckle. 27mm. Please be aware that this item has had significant aftermarket intervention.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Third party dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint.
  • Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches. Chipping to edge of glass especially between six and twelve.
  • Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting.
  • Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing.Plating has started to lift.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
