An 18ct gold amethyst and seed pearl cluster ring. The oval-shape amethyst cabochon, within a seed pearl surround, to the trifurcated shoulders. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1970. Weight 6.3gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. The amethyst is a deep medium purple hue with good saturation. Moderate surface abrasion. The seed pearls are a creamy-white colour. Typical surface blemishes, with light to moderate nacre damage. There is a white residue surrounding the seed pearls. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source. Ring size L1/2.
