Condition Report

An early 20th century 18ct gold ruby locket. The circular-shape ruby trefoil, to the square panel and plain reverse, opening to reveal two male portraits. Length 3.1cms. Weight 4gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general age and wear. Localised file marks and discolouration to the back of the pendant. The rubies are a bright medium red colour, with moderate abrasion to the facet edges and small chips to the girdles. One of the inner glass/plastic panels atop the photos is split in half, one half deficient. Surmount hoop stamped 18ct. Length includes surmount of 0.07cms.
