An early 20th century 15ct gold diamond pendant.

Condition Report

An early 20th century 15ct gold diamond pendant. The old-cut diamond accent horseshoe panel, to the later added 9ct gold curb-link chain. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Chain with 9ct gold hallmarks for Sheffield. Length of pendant 1.7cms. Length of chain 46cms. Total weight 4.5gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
  • The chain is fixed to the pendant.
  • Light localised scratches and worn gilt finish surrounding the diamonds.
  • There is a small drill hole to the back of the pendant.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
  • The diamonds are bright.
  • Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification.
  • Pendant stamped 15ct.
