Condition Report
A late 19th century gold, diamond and sapphire bangle. Designed as a graduated series of alternating old-cut diamonds and cushion-shape sapphires, each within a star-shape surround, inset to the hinged bangle with bead and bar sides. Estimated total diamond weight 0.85ct, H-I colour, VS2-P1 clarity. Inner diameter 5.7cms. Weight 28.6gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Band slightly out of shape.
- Diamonds well matched in colour, with varying inclusions, some surface reaching.
- Diamonds bright.
- Sapphires deep medium blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and few typical inclusions.
- Stones in good to fair condition with minor abrasions, one sapphire chipped to the pavillion facets.
