Condition Report

An early 20th century 15ct gold split and seed pearl foliate necklace. Designed as series of articulated seed and split pearl foliate and floral clusters, to the rope-twist back-chain and barrel clasp. Length 37.4cms. Weight 15.8gms.

  • Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Slight discolouration.
  • Possible replacement clasp. Chain has been shortened. One split pearl deficient. Possible replacements.
  • Split and seed pearls moderately well matched, with varied discolouration.
  • Stamped 15ct.
  • Length of articulated panel section 15.2cms.
